The Awareness to Action Leadership Program helps high-potential
executives develop into the highly effective leaders that
will take your organization to the next level.
The program combines an Enneagram personality-style assessment, a 360-degree review, and a systematic approach that helps professionals to:
• Identify strengths and opportunities for growth |
• Develop an action plan to help
improve immediate performance and continued professional growth |
• Approach business challenges in ways that compliment their personality style |
• Utilize a set of leadership and performance models that set the stage for life-long learning |
The tools we use
Assessment Tools: In addition to a 360-degree assessment conducted by verbal interviews with key stakeholders, this program uses the Enneagram model of personality styles to help professionals to build profound insights about their style and the styles of other people.
Based on the book Awareness to Action: The Enneagram, Emotional Intelligence and Change by Robert Tallon and Mario Sikora, this model identifies nine strategies for approaching the world that influence our thoughts and behaviors.
Leadership-Development Tools: The program centers on a series of leadership models that focus on:
• Self-mastery and behavioral change |
• Effective and appropriate use of power and influence |
• Rigorous, creative, and open-minded thinking |
Who are typical candidates for coaching?
Candidates for executive coaching generally include:
• High-potential executives who are being groomed for larger leadership roles
|
• High-performing executives seeking objective feedback and insight
|
• Executives needing remedial guidance on behavioral or performance issues. |
Our consultants have extensive experience in each of these situations. The Awareness to Action Leadership™ Program is designed for high-potential executives, but we tailor programs for executives in the other areas as well.
The structure of the program
Session One consists of a 2-3 hour interview that includes an extensive client career assessment, identifies the client’s developmental goals, and identifies the client’s personality style. It is followed by an extensive 360-degree assessment.
Session Two, which is also 2-3 hours, consists of a review of the feedback, places the feedback within the context of the client’s personality style, prioritizes the developmental opportunities, and introduces the leadership models to provide a framework for action.
Follow-up coaching sessions track the client’s progress on their action plans and provide feedback and guidance as necessary to ensure progress.
